How-to Find Any File On Google
The basic idea is to construct a string containing some ‘extra’ information for Google to crawl over. A basic ’string’ search is powerful enough to find hidden treasures lurking in the internet’s abundant directory files. To find a certain file type is just a matter of plugging it in to the string in the correct, logical order.
You will be searching for directories that are unprotected. When a web site is made, the individual files needed to produce the site are stored in various folders on that sites server. If these files are not indexed they are unprotected. The system will build a listing of these files. The listings contain common headings that can be included in a search string.
